Lavender Lane presents a charming self-catering cottage situated in the serene residential neighborhood of Loerie Park within George. Our cottage is thoughtfully designed for your convenience, boasting solar panels to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
The space
The primary accommodation offers two large bedrooms, a comfortable dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, an open-plan lounge for relaxation, a well-appointed bathroom, a dedicated desk or work area for productivity, and an inviting outdoor patio adorned with seating for your leisure and enjoyment.
The bedrooms are generously spacious, adorned with soft carpeting underfoot, and thoughtfully designed to provide ample cupboard space for your convenience. The main bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed and the second bedroom has two single beds, ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for your stay. The beds are adorned with crisp, high-quality linen, and we provide extra soft blankets to ensure a cozy and restful night's sleep. For added comfort, fans are available to help maintain an ideal temperature in the rooms.
Our kitchen is fully outfitted with essential appliances, including a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, stove and Nespresso machine, allowing you to prepare meals at your leisure.
Inside, you'll find seating for four individuals, while an outdoor balcony offers additional seating, perfect for savoring al fresco moments. We also provide barbecue facilities for your culinary adventures. complimentary WiFi, and access to a full bouquet of satellite TV.
There is a spacious bathroom that offers both a bathtub and separate shower. We also provide fluffy towels for your comfort, along with complimentary shower gel and shampoo.
Furthermore, we've implemented eco-friendly features such as solar panels, a gas heater, rechargeable lights, and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to mitigate the impact of electricity interruptions in South Africa.
Guest access
Lavender Lane Guest House has a separate entrance and the accommodation is completely private.

The cottage is completely private and is not shared with any other guests.
The house can be serviced on request.. Please give us 2 days notice to make arrangements.
Gavin and Lindsay renovated Lavender Lane self-catering cottage in 2015. It was named after Lindsay's love and passion for fields of lavender after her visit to the South of France. We relocated from Johannesburg with our two sons in 2008 and have never looked back. We love the peace and tranquility associated with living in the Garden Route and hope that visitors will experience a taste of this when they stay at Lavender Lane.
Lavender Lane is ideally positioned close to the mountains, George dam, botanical gardens, beaches, Glenwood golf course and shopping mall. It is close to the Go George Bus Route for those who wish to explore more of our beautiful city.
Lavender Lane offers a peaceful atmosphere, with spacious rooms that are tastefully decorated. It is the ideal place to stay for families or couples planning a holiday, a business trip or a longer holiday. We look forward to meeting you.
